Can anyone support a project?
Yes. Pozible is a world-wide funding platform, anyone can support a project to meet its funding goal.
-
How do I change my pledge amount?
To edit your pledge, log in and go to your History (My Stuff, History) and click on the 'Edit' button. To cancel your pledge, go to your History (My Stuff, History) and click on the red Cancel button under the 'Edit' button/tab. If the project has reached its funding goal, you'll need to contact the project creator, then email us at info@pozible.com.
-
When will pledges be collected?
Pledges will be collected when the project has reached 100% of its funding goal. Once the project reaches 100% of the funding target, all subsequent pledges are collected immediately.
-
What are declined payments? Why does it happen?
When Pozible collects funds pledged to a project, there are instances when the pledge amount cannot be captured from the supporters credit/debit card. There are many reasons for this but it's usually caused by a recently expired card, a cancelled card, an issue with available funds, a limitation on the card or with international authorisation in Australia.
Once a declined payment occurs, Pozible will send a daily email to remind the supporter to return and fix the payment. Once logged in to Pozible, the supporter will see a banner at the top of the page with a link to fix the payment. By clicking 'resubmit' the supporter will be asked to re-enter their payment details and the payment is processed instantly.

How do I stop receiving emails about project updates?
Project updates are the project creator’s way of keeping you in the loop about their project. To stop receiving update emails, log into your Pozible account, go to My Stuff, Profile. There will be a tiny box that says “Turn off all notifications (including private messages) - Not recommended”. Select to stop receiving updates.

I'm trying to make a large pledge through PayPal but it won't let me. Why is that?
This may happen if you or the project creator have not verified your PayPal account. Unverified PayPal accounts have a limit of US$2000 on their accounts. If both you and the project creator have unverified PayPal accounts, not only are you unable to make a pledge over US$2000, but they can't receive pledges over this amount either.
-
How do I verify my Paypal account?
Please visit Paypal's website for more information.
-
My card was declined. How long do I have to update my card details?
We give supporters with declined cards seven (7) days after the project ends to fix any credit card issues.
-
Why do some projects allow PayPal and others don't?
This is completely up to the project creator. Some project creators just prefer to process payments directly to their bank accounts rather than use PayPal.
-
How does PayPal process pledges?
PayPal processes pledges like a subscription. When you make a pledge, you are giving Pozible permission to charge future payments to your PayPal account. Once the project reaches 100% of its funding goal, we then charge your account. Unlike a subscription, which might charge you a few times a year, Pozible only charges your account once. You can cancel this agreement any time by going to 'My pre-approved payments' on PayPal.
