Libraryland

Project Description

LOOK!
Libraryland! will be a limited-edition, well-designed book of drawings, sketches and illustrations done at the State Library of Victoria by me, Oslo Davis.

100% DRAWN!
Libraryland! will contain hundreds of sketches and illustrations I did at the State Library of Victoria over three months last year. Some drawings are silly-looking, some serious, some neither silly nor serious - they're just drawings! Drawings of the Library staff, people walking, talking, looking at art, readings books, tapping away on their laptops, sleeping, ascending and descending stairs - you name it! All immortalised in simple and complicated black line drawings! It won't be an art book per se, nor a book of cartoons or a graphic novel - it'll be its own thing!

SUPPORT LIBRARYLAND, AND BE REWARDED!
Right now support is needed to make Libraryland! move from a collection of drawings to a being a REAL BOOK. Help me make Libraryland, and take advantage of the REWARDS: personally signed and numbered copies of the book; actual pages of art used in Libraryland; original copies of your favourite Overheard cartoon, unframed or framed; and something called an Oslo Davis Happy Pack!

ABOUT THE BOOK!
Completely wordless: Enjoy drawings in a book without the annoying clutter of text!
Limited run of only 250 copies - once they're gone they're gone!
100 pages
Includes a specially-designed dust jacket that folds out to become a poster!
Each cover contains a UNIQUE hand-drawn drawing!
Each book is signed and numbered!
Printed on 100% recycled stock!
