THE PROJECT

For the first time FELTspace will participate in an international art fair and we need your help to get us there!

SUPERMARKET is an independent art fair run by artists to establish international audiences and dialogue between like minded galleries and artist projects. For the very first time FELTspace will be sending two representatives to Stockholm to represent the gallery and the South Australian visual arts community.

Participation in SUPERMARKET 2012 will allow FELTspace to interact with new audiences and establishing further international opportunities for South Australian artists. In addition to exhibiting artworks FELTspace will be promoting their recent publication FELTspace Gold - A Survey of Emerging Contemporary Art Practice in South Australia 2011.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Unfortunately the cost of shipping our artworks to Stockholm isn't cheap. Your donations will make sure that the works of six South Australian artists make it over in one piece and that we can bring 100 copies of the FELTspace Gold publication with us to show the world what is happening in Adelaide visual arts right now! This is a unique opportunity and we are calling for any and all donations to bring FELTspace into the spotlight!

WHAT IS FELTspace?

FELTspace is an Artist Run Gallery established in 2008. With its exhibition space in Compton Street at the heart of Adelaide’s Central Market district, FELTspace has quickly become a centre for the emerging contemporary visual arts community and an important site for the development, exhibition and discussion of new work by emerging and recognised visual artists in South Australia. FELTspace is unique as the only ARI with a permanent site in Adelaide’s CBD dedicated to the promotion of contemporary visual arts practices. FELTspace has a focus on promoting emerging and early career artists, with opportunities for more established artists to show in a non-commercial and non-institutional space.
