Bombs no more!

A$10
of $5,000 targetyrs ago
Closed on 5th Dec 2011 at 1:00AM.

The concept is a simple one, but it is already tried and tested. Through directly engaging the public by setting up easels and displays, and through postcards and online forms, we are inviting people to take an image of a nuclear bomb and artistically transform it into something else.

We have been gathering these designs all over the world - in Hiroshima, Norway and in Melbourne. We have created a website of these images where people can vote on their favorite ones at www.bombsnomore.com

Once we have enough, we plan to make a display at the UN head quarters in Geneva, as well as displaying the works in galleries and strategic locations all over the world. We have also got agreement from Desmond Tutu and Noble Prize winner Jody Williams to help judge the best designs.

Our immediate aim, with your help, is to publish a book of the artworks in the future to help forward the cause of nuclear weapons abolition globally! All donations will be directed toward the publishing and distribution costs of the Bombs no more book.

You will be sent a postcard in the mail and included on our bombsnomore website
