Dreaming Abraham
I wrote Dreaming Abraham to laugh and to help to nurture more tolerance within our society. Humor helps defuse confrontations and over-zealous beliefs. If we can't laugh at ourselves, others will.
In this short film, we observe a long-awaited, but very awkward dinner with Abraham and his family Sarah, Isaac, and the expelled Hagar and Ishmael, and Jesus. To resolve the conflict Isaac brings out a game, Religionopoly. It catapults religion into a completely unexpected sphere, helping everyone to unite in play.
Let’s dream for a moment – Dreaming Abraham.
