What is FindMyTradey
We have all heard the horror stories of people who have hired a tradesmen through the yellow pages and being either over charged, getting inferior workmanship, or the tradesmen simply never turns up! This has been the risk everyone has faced when thinking about whether they could should hire a tradesmen or attempt to do it themselves (often ending in tears)…
A new website called Find My Tradey, however is seeking to change the way Sydney residents (And eventually all of Australia) find builders and tradesmen. The site is an online marketplace for everyday people to log in and post any trade related jobs they need completed around the house. You will then receive quotes from Tradies and builders and all you need to do is select the best one.
But how do you know that the Tradies who are providing quotes are good? The website, like ebay, has a feedback function allowing past clients to provide feedback on the Tradey. So when in doubt, just check the feedback!
So next time you need your dripping tap fixed, instead of going through the hassle of trying to teach yourself by watching one YouTube video, you can post a job online and get a qualified tradesmen to do it for a good price!
Why fund us
The first version of the site is up and running and we have had a good response to the site. We are looking to secure funding so that we can launch a decent advertising campaign to promote the website.
In addition to this we are also looking for funding to create the next stage of the website including premium membership functions for tradesmen.
