Alixandra Kupcik

Sydney-based Actor and Singer, Alixandra Kupcik has recently been accepted into the 1 year Conservatory Program for Acting at the T. Schreiber Studio and Theatre in NYC.

For 43 years. T. Schreiber Studio and Theatre has provided actors with the best in professional training and performance in a supportive and collaborative environment. Established in 1969 and the winner of seven Backstage Readers Choice Awards and five New York Innovative Theatre Awards T. Schreiber has been a home and a training ground for many artists who go on to successful careers in Theatre, Film and Television. The alumni of T. Schreiber Studio include Edward Norton, Peter Sarsgaard and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

At the conclusion of the program Alixandra hopes to emerge with skills of the highest caliber whilst being exposed to the American industry heightening her chances of securing work not only in Australia but on an international level.

Whilst in NYC Alixandra has also been offered opportunities to perform her second one woman show 'Reflections" which she produced, directed, wrote and starred in. Reflections was  performed in Sydney and Melbourne.

Alixandra is thrilled to have such wonderful opportunities. However, these opportunities come at a price. The cost of tuition in America as well as living expenses in NYC are expensive. Whilst the start up cost of running "Reflections" including marketing, musical accompaniment and rehearsal space do not come cheaply. Whilst this opportunity will be self funded for the most part any additional donations, big or small will be of great assistance and greatly appreciated.
