For a few years I have been travelling between Melbounre and Bangkok looking and finding new adventures for myself.

This work has come from visiting the park over three years. A place of wonder, a personal 'Tranquility Base', this oasis in the middle of the metropolis of Bangkok, can inspire the same dreamy feelings and a yearning for travel and discovery.

In the Sea of Tranquility based on the moon's surface lies Tranquility Base. It exists as not only a place, but a spot we can only dream of as we might never visit. The thought attached to the words can inspire images and create fantasy worthy of any novel.

My first trip to Lumpini Park held a feeling of awe for those that have turned this royal ground into a community park that at its centre focuses on supporting the community. It is such a beautiful quiet oasis located within the turbulence of a major city. The park has the ability to help homeless people, the aged, and stray animals within the many clubs and support systems based inside this walled off section of this bustling metropolis. It's a safe haven to some and a community within a community for others. Like most parks, it holds onto the ability and recreational prowess of equalising everyone, removing class, wealth, and status. Within these boundaries all are treated, and thought to be equal.

The money I am raising is to go towards printing costs of a small A5 32 page full colour CMYK zine. The copies sold durning the Pozible are all special edition and not part of the first edition run of 50. There are only 19 available and will come individualy numbered, signed, and with an A5 print of one of the images inside. I know 19 is such a random number, but as there are 19 images I thought to only release enough as to cover 1 copy for each image inside.

Thanks SO MUCH for popping past and taking a look, and I hope you deciude to support this project.

Budget Overview

100% of the funds raised go directly to the print and production costs of the zine. Any extra funds over the top of the printing costs will go towards my trip to the Bangkok Art Book Fair to launch the zine to a wider audiance.

Thanks To You!!

For a simple little dollar I will say a big THANK YOU over all my social media accounts and share your name across the interwebs!! I will also send you a link to an online version of the book you can flick through and dream of what the real one would look like!!

THANKS SO MUCH SELECTING THIS REWARD!! You get the same as the $1 reward, and the bonus of a limited editon signed copy of the book and an A5 print of one of the imges inside! TO BE FAIR TO EVERYONE -------------------------- After alot of thinking I decided that as the pledges come in, thats the image you will receive from the book (if that makes sense). So the person who donates first gets the first image, the second the second image, and so on and so fourth. So this also means there is only 19 of these available.
