What is the Project?

An Apple native iOS app for Iphone and iPad that will be your one-stop shop for organising your Engagement, Wedding Ceremony and Reception.

The app is native an runs directly from both iPhone and iPad and has limited need to connect to the Internet making it snappy and independent from reception issues of some event venues and location.

Also, this app will have 2 editions 'Couples' (1 couple) and 'Planner' (will allow unlimited creation of wedding clients - depending on the amount of memory space).

Features include:

• All 3 event countdown timers
• Guest list with RSVP
• Meal choices to be served or to be decided upon
• Seating plan
• To-do list
• Clothing with camera function
• Vendor/resource listing
• In-app browser
• Gift tracker with 'thank you' function
• Day scheduler (order of the day) with alert function
• Budget with simple in-app calculator
• First dance playlist log
• Honeymoon log 
• Backup function via email
• and more
  

This will be a big app with plenty of interest appealing to both couples and planners - combining many features required in one place together seamlessly.

Both versions will be cheaper than the current overpriced and lack of feature apps in stores.

A detailed series of chapters will be created and form a book/eBook; to be supported by vendors as promotion for their business as well as upcoming start-ups who wish to showcase their product/services.

Project Purpose?

The aim is to be the most powerful of wedding tool for mobile devices - so far there are a few competitors that focus on elements rather than the whole experience and need or planning.  The app stores are flooded with gimmick apps providing little assistance to wedding couples and planners and not taken seriously.

Current Status of Project?

We have started the project for couples on iphone, remaining is to complete this version then create the iPad edition.  When this is completed we will move on to the 'Planner/Organiser' version which will allow unlimited wedding clients for the Planner - as many weddings to plan as your device memory can handle.
