That’s the byline of a brand new Channel 31 sitcom The Interview Artist.
The Interview Artist is the brainchild of me, Sam Petersen. I've been making TV for Channel 31 since I was knee high to a, frankly, freakishly tall grasshopper. This show is by far, my most ambitious project to date.
The seven part series is actually a remake of a TV show I made when I was just 15 years old with his best friend Adrian Yeung. Here we are, aged five. Aren't we cute?

Older and wiser now, but just as passionate about the show, I want to remake it with my dream cast so that as many people as can see it as possible.
Sadly, just before filming began (and after I'd invested a pretty hefty sum into some fancy new gear to make the best show I could) my car was broken into and everything was stolen. Having had to pay for new gear to make the show twice now, I'm looking to get a little bit of extra help to finish The Interview Artist and get it to air by July 15th. THIS July 15th.
About the show
The series follows Sybastian Blake, a struggling interviewer who has a podcast in his bedroom - famously (or unfamously) the least downloaded podcast in Australia. Sybastian is supported by his eighth best friend and creative partner, Ralph N. Neeson and unsupported by his Mother, who he still lives with.

About me
I'm a comedy man and part-time giraffe enthusiast. I started writing and performing comedy when I was fifteen for Channel 31. After being a community television child star I moved on to creating a small production company Rusty Fragment where I write regular sketches and puts together podcasts.

How The Funds Will Be Used
But, having to pay for gear twice has meant that we're now pretty skint with just a few more scenes left to shoot. That's where you come in!
I want to raise a pretty modest $2020 which will cover the cost of shooting one of the more expensive scenes for the show. In it, Mother Blake and Sybastian accidentally find themselves at a couples retreat as they try to deal with their issues.
The money will pay for:
> Hiring a cottage for two days which will serve as the location
> Catering
> Travel to get the volunteer actors to the set
> Studio time afterwards for editing
> Costumes and props.
The Challenges
How are we dealing with it? We have very carefully mapped out a timeline and, all going to plan, it means we'll make it to air in time. I'm editing the show as I go and packing every spare minute I have outside working into the project.
A drawing of you
You are the BEST. For $5 Sam will draw a picture of you. Sorry, we don't have the heart to tell him he's a bit crap. Lower your expectations.
