Letterbox Collective/Blossoming Thought
I started a project recently called The Letterbox Collective whereby from the first to the fourteenth of every month, I ask anybody and everybody from anywhere in the world to send me their home address. On the fifteenth, I pick out 20 names at random and send them a handwritten letter with a random gift. The goal of this is to simply create connection and do what I can to make sure the world isn't such a lonely place. In each handwritten letter, I ask the person about the most important thing they've ever learnt. Eventually I want to create a database of all the things these people have learnt, and turn it into a book. In the same way as Blossoming, I've been getting letters from all around the world.

This is for the people I love. This is for the people I am yet to love. This is the letterbox collective. Send your home address to [email protected] and I’ll send you a letter. On the 15th of every month I’ll be sending out 20 letters to 20 people I don’t know.
Letters will include variations of:
-Mix CD's
-A hand written letter
-Secrets
-Maps
-Hand made games
-Dares
-Questions
-Feathers
-Magazine clippings and things I find in the bottom of my bag.
I’ll send them to any place in the world.
Will it be your letterbox?
Almost two years ago I started the Blossoming Thought Project. It's a project that asks people to write notes or signs of positivity/advice/encouragement/love and stick them up around the city they live in, simply to inspire the people around them, or even just to simply make them smile. The project is to build connections between strangers in a world where we can often feel isolated. Over the last two years, I've responded to thousands of emails from around the world from people who want to help and do the same thing for the people in their country or city.

If you're wonderful enough to donate to Blossoming Thought/Letterbox Collective, send me your address, and I'd love you to be a part of The Letterbox Collective. I'll send you a handwritten letter, and eventually, when the book is made- your letter will potentially be in it.
