Underground is proud to announce that it will be touring this year's production of "Closer" to Melbourne in August this year. After a smash hit season at the Schonnell Theatre in Brisbane, this production marks Underground's first ever foray into touring and we need your help!

The night will feature some of Brisbane's best bartenders who will be serving delectable cocktails and naughty nibbles throughout the evening; as well as a live jazz band and some special guest artists who will perform their favourite covers (because "everything is a version of something else...", right?)
The cast and creative team behind "Closer" are holding a Fundraiser on Monday 25 June at Canvas in Woolloongabba to help reach our target of $2000. "Closer" will be produced by Underground Productions and all money raised will contribute directly to set construction and design, costumes and marketing and publicity. If you can't make it to our fundraiser, NEVER FEAR! There are also options to make a donation (see right) and every little bit helps :)

A Bit About the Fundraiser: Dress in your cocktail best and allow us to offer you a new identity upon entry (not to mention the opportunity to meet and cajole other "strangers" over the course of the evening).

A Bit About the Production: The touring production of "Closer" will run for a 2 week season at Melbourne's hottest new venue, Revolt Studios in Kensington. The show will open on August 1, 2012.
