is a combined web-mobile application that matches car sharing offers and requests real time, on the spot, using GPS data, route planning software and provides safety through the feedback system and through an option for geographical tracking , and registration. Also contains an e-wallet for cashless transactions.

Why is it useful?

It is instant, matches can be done within 2-3 minutes. Using 3GS and GPS data the trip status is dynamically updated. Communication between the users is realtime.

Why is it safe?

- Registered users personal data is held maintaining privacy, everyone is known but only for the system.

- An Ebay-like feedback system helps users to choose the right travel partners. Positive feedbacks build trust and motivate.

- Staying connected to the system during the trips provides extra safety. The user’s geographical position might being tracked on demand, and they are able to raise an alarm anytime.

- Using an E-wallet makes the system cashfree.

Who is benefiting?

Everyone, - the driver, the passenger, the city, the environment -, but most importantly: every shared trip halfs the amount of emission. Enough said.

What are the costs?

The service itself will be free. The only cost involved is the payment for the trip paid by the passenger to the driver.

Ideally the spared emission (which can be accurately calculated using the trip logs) could be claimed and returned to the users in some form.

The system maintenance and further development should be sponsored by the government and/or other corporate sponsors.

Your donation will go towards developing (code and design of the web and mobile applications) the application, and towards producing demonstration materials.
