This project is to raise funding for a full length 45 minute Fusion Contemporary dance production called Toxicity.
Evixa is the production house for Fusion Contemporary dance in Australia. We have a fantastic full length dance show in production called 'Toxicity' - an exploration of Toxic love, sexuality and gender issues in society. We have 5 talented Principal dancers; Josh Duke, Flic Manning, Sara Caputo, Anna Levene and Carmen Walker to dance this electrifying production. This is all coordinated by Evixa's Creator and Choreographer Flic Manning, who is an established dance industry professional.A preview piece from Toxicity
Our current supporters
Evixa is supported by MDM Dance who are a well established dance wear brand, Ministry of Dance Melbourne who assist us with rehearsal space and Chante Designs (an Australian based fashion designer).
What your funding will help achieve
The total budget for Toxicity is a total of $10,000; a portion of which is self-funded. We are aiming to raise $2500 from this campaign which would be put directly towards the staging costs for this show; specifically the lighting design and personnel, hair and makeup team and marketing and various other items listed below:
*Theatre Hire: $2500

*Stage Personnel: $1000
*Hair & Makeup: $300
*Costume Design: $300
*Marketing: $1000
*Dancers: $3000
*Rehearsal Space: $400

Ultimately, Evixa is launching a new dance technique (Fusion Contemporary) through the production of Toxicity. Our aim is to take this technique global and we need your help to do so.
This is more than one show - it's about creating a legacy.
