Hey, my name is Bethany, and I'm writing a series of interactive Fantasy/Philosophy/Multi-media novellas. The first (Dreams Speak in Metaphor) is ready to go, and the second (Fishing in a Stream of Consciousness) is in the editing process.
Here’s the synopsis of the first book so that you can get a feel for it:
"Dreams Speak in Metaphor is a Wonderland-like dream journey in which The Dreamer encounters elements of their body and mind in a series of metaphor driven conversations and situations. The Dreamer has been called into this lucid world by their subconscious in its attempt to let them know that in their waking life, a cavity that they have not dealt with for far too long is leaking bacteria into their bloodstream and brain, poisoning their body. Although this is the main motive, the subconscious has many other messages and propositions to offer, and transforms these ideas into tangible characters and situations for The Dreamer to interact with, question and learn from."
At the moment the only way anyone can access my books is if I send them a PDF, or if I read it to them. It's now time to start self publishing, and make these books available.
With your assistance, I will be signing up for a platinum package with http://tablo.io/
This will allow me to publish 10 eBook titles (ISBN’s provided), I will get 100% of the royalties, be published to the Amazon and iBookstore, and it will allow me to update my books at any time. Awesome right? I think so.
For all this to be possible, I need your help. The Tablo Publishing Platnum Pack is going to set me back $599, which is totally a reachable goal, and for me a great investment and facility. With your help I can get this and many other of my stories out, and this would make me so so happy.

The Challenges
With so much being free over the internet, and a good amount of people not being interested in reading, it will be tricky at first to establish myself as a writer. I know this will take time, but writing and reading to people is what I absolutely adore, so challenges aside, I'm going to keep doing it anyway. If I can succeed in establishing a career in what I love doing though, that would be absolutely brilliant, and allow me to bring so many of my ideas and aspirations into fruition.

I'm going to start doing a demo audiobook, and record myself reading Dreams Speak in Metaphor in different locations. I'll be uploading them to bandcamp and soundcloud, and you'll get free access to them. I'm also thinking of filming me reading some of the chapters, and if there is interest in this I'll do that too, and you'll get access.

If you live in Melbourne, I will do a reading of DSIM at your house or venue for as many people as you care to invite. Now, keep in mind this wont be just any old reading - I do voices, sing, beatbox, and there are a few sections where people can get involved if you like. This will be anything but a boring night!
