This project is a visual exploration of my relationship to my home in the heart of the rainforest, It explores the past, the community, my family, the future, the family business, and the beauty i see in the place i grew up in.
The project consists of a display of photo's and poetry, and a coffee table book of photo's and poetry.
I am responsible for all aspects of the project
initiating began on 1st of December and is complete,
planing began on 4th of December and is now complete,
the execution began on the 5th of December and has 10 parts,
1= raising the funds which will begin on 17th of December and close on the 17th of Janurary
2= The taking of the photo's, this part is complete, cost = free
3= the writing of the poetry, this part is half complete and will be completed by 17th of december, cost = free
4= hiring the venue will be completed by 17 of January, Cost = $100
5= printing the photo's and book out, completed by the 27th of January, cost = $300
6= building and putting in the frame, completed by the 27th of January, cost= free
7= build of interest and advertising, completed by 31st of January, cost = $50
8= bumping in, completed by the 31st of January, cost = free
9= holding the opening dinner, on the 1st of February, cost = $50
10= bumping out, completed by 10th of February, cost = free
the venue will be at the Malanda Hotel Motel.
