New Orleans has been through three major hurricanes within the past seven years. Isaac being the most recent. Isaac actually hit New Orleans on the seventh year anniversary of Katrina. Katrina-one of the five most deadliest hurricanes in American history. Gustav-was the second most destructive hurricane in the 2008 hurricane season. Isaac-although Isaac was only a category one, the effects on New Orleans and the surrounding areas have been major. There is definitely a story to be told here. A story from the side of the people who were affected by the storms and the outstanding individuals who worked tirelessly to help others. My biggest goal is to create a film that is gritty, raw and honest. I have a very detailed plan to make this documentary. An undertaking like this always starts with what is needed to make a great film: director, equipment, production of dvds, a website to purchase dvds, transportation. I have access to many people within the New Orleans area and I have firsthand knowledge of what it is like going through a hurricane in Nola.

Steps to complete documentary:

1. Get a professional director.

2. Go over list of equipment needed and purchase. Also, if needed get other help.

3. Map out area to cover. Nola, Metarie, Hammond, La Plaz etc.

4. Make list of citizens to interview who have been through these hurricanes.

5. Make list of firefighters, police, national guardsmen, red cross etc. to interview.

6. Gather pics, video, etc. from past hurricanes to use in documentary.

7. Edit and compile all material.

8. Produce DVD.

9. Get website made to buy documentary from.

10. Blast facebook, twitter with help of friends.

11. Make press release to promote documentary.

12. Promote within the New Orleans area.

13. Have free screenings all over.

14. Contact people within the movie business to promote.

15. Put on all websites similar to amazon.
