What is my vision?

My vision is quite simple; I want to serve the Denver community and surrounding area mini-cake donuts in an eco-friendly electric food truck. I’m trying to raise $20,000 to pay for outfitting my mobile mini-donut business, permits and licensing, and all the things I’m doing to get my business up and running. My goal is to launch my mobile business by November 5, 2012 and to have an electric food truck with the equipment & supplies needed to sale mini-donuts throughout the Denver community.

Why mini-donuts?

Nearly everyone loves mini-donuts. Adults remember enjoying them when they were kids attending fairs, festivals, carnivals, ball games, events... and then buy them for their own kids (and themselves).

Fresh, Hot Mini-Donuts have always been a popular food item at carnivals, festivals, fairs and many other outdoor seasonal events. In addition to seasonal, outdoor events, there are hundreds of other places where my food truck will be very profitable.

The action of the machine as it cooks will attract customers to my location, and the wonderful cooking aromas will do the rest. The donut aroma will draw hungry folks of all ages to my sales counter where they can watch donuts being made.

Mini-donuts are proven money-makers and are operated profitably in over 100 countries around the globe.
Profitability, combined with a healthy return on investment, and fun - for my customers - and for me.

The Team

My name is Dana Robinson and I live in Denver, Colorado. I have a beautiful 9 year daughter that was diagnosed 3 years ago with a cognitive disability, hearing loss and social anxiety. I think this business will be great for the two of us. It will help her learn valuable skills and engage socially with others. I have a great family support system and they will be involved with the ongoing process of the business. It has been a long time dream of mine to own a donut business and to meet new people in the community.
