UPDATE: Can you help us make it to $900?

Thanks to your generous support of independent theatre, we've made our base target of $600! We still have five days of our campaign left and would LOVE to make it to $900.

The extra cash would allow us to buy things like more paint for the set, consumable props we would otherwise go without, or the extra few items of furniture to fill our set...!

Sly Rat Theatre Co's second production will preview on Monday 24 June 2013 at the NIDA Parade Theatres - but we need your help to make it there!

We've already held a successful fundraiser at the Red Rattler in Marrickville but we're a little short on making our production budget!

Our fundraiser has already helped us pay for really necessary things like rights to the play and insurance, but now we need to raise money for the things that really make a piece of theatre unique - our sets, costumes, lighting equipment, props...

We understand that creating indie theatre is all about making the most of a small budget, and that's what we're trying to do. This $600 (or maybe more if we're really lucky!) would be helping us pay for essential production items like the things listed above. If we raised more than $600, well that gives us a bit more room to move - maybe we can afford to rent that fancy light, or that extra set piece to really fill the stage, or dress the cast in those perfect boots and costume items!

So if you are able to donate to us any spare change, no matter how big or small, we would be eternally grateful - it is through the support of the community that indie theatre can thrive - so thank you!
