About GoFlo:

GoFlo is a mobile app in which allows for MCs(rappers) all over the world to compete and become ranked. This project in which we're currently working on includes the creation of our app. The app will feature several different functions and will allow for friends to rap together as well as serious MCs to compete and become recognized throughout the industry. We expect to have the project completed by the end of December and are hoping to launch it into the marketing by early 2013. The app includes the ability to be matched up with random MCs and compete by recording a 30second rap to a pre-chosen beat provided by us. The raps will then be voted on and a winner will immerse and thus move up the rankings. The funding we're trying to acquire will provide us the money to complete this project. This app is targeted towards artists that are in the music industry but can be used and enjoyed by anyone. We are a small team of dedicated and determined students. We appreciate the music industry with an emphasis in rap and hip hop. Our passion has driven us to create a project such as this one in order to improve the industry.

Current Status:

We have outlined the app and began the programming process. The proceeds from here will go to programming expenses and acquiring the rights to the music.
