THE PROJECT/BUSINESS SO FAR...
Just on 5 months ago, I saw a gap in the market for beautiful, decadent hampers filled with exquisite produce that not only provided the goods but a beautiful keepsake long after the goods were devoured!
I approached my sister and we decided to do our research and forge ahead with making a go of setting up our business.
Yes, there are many online hamper/gift stores but none like ours!
OUR HOME MADE MACARONS IN RASPBERRY, SALTED CARAMEL, PISTACHIO AND VANILLA BEAN
Sugarcube Candy was started with about $4000 between us. We researched and researched some more through out the nights when our kids were asleep for the most delicious and sweet candy that was not readily available. We ordered samples from overseas and within Australia... we tasted (that was the fun part!) and then tasted some more until we found a product line that we believed was amazing.
All our fresh produce is all locally made to ensure freshness when delivered.
OUR HOMEMADE FRUIT MALLOWS - PLAIN AND CHOC DRIZZLED
Then we sourced our beautiful range of apothecary jars, along with our beautiful signature matte black boxes, ribbons, swing tags etc....
We did the website ourselves with the help of a friend
Our business was born
BUT WE RAN OUT OF MONEY!!!!!
We desperately need to order more stock as its coming from overseas and takes 3-4 weeks to ship over - $2500 including shipping
We need to vamp up our website with professional photos and proper lighting (not ones taken in my living room by our father) $1500
We need to start advertising desperately - media, attending expo's etc... but that costs money!!! $2000

It would mean everything to us, we have both stayed up long into the night trying to get where we are today, worked school holidays despite feeling the guilt of being a mumpreneur.
We believe in this business and both have such strong work ethic to provide and contribute to our families but also to show our children (8 between us!) that yes, Mum's do work and yes, we can be successful!
Your investment will allow us to grow what we have created so far, as at the moment,
we are at a stand still.
