The money you pledge is going to the publishing costs of the book it will not be going towards my traveling! My flights are already booked, and my trip is planned! so I am not using this as a means for a free holiday. $5000 dollars will doubtfully cover the cost of publishing, however pozible.com suggests to have a small target goal to be more likely to obtain it. The world is a changing place, and now is an exciting time to be producing. The generic path that authors have endured over the years to get 'found' or 'discovered' is coming to an end. Authors are beginning to take their projects into their own hands, creating their own time restrictions, rules and regulations. I plan on doing just that but I can only produce this book, from me to you with YOUR help! so please, help me out. Spread the word, and if you have some spare money please donate. <3

 I've opted to use crowd-sourcing as a method of making money to live my dreams. It's an excellent way for all involved to engage with other like-minded people and be a part of the project in ways previously unobtainable by the general public. Those wonderful people out there who are willing to assist me will recieve the results they seek! You get the fantastic opportunity to essentially order the product prior to it reaching the market. You also get bonus goods, services and even in-person experience.

This is the day of artistic independence and deep intwined connections between I, the author/photographer and the audience. It's a win win situation, no middle man just you and I. I am beyond excited to start this campaign and I would love it if you spread the word to all your friends, via facebook, twitter, tumbler, or any other means you have.

The media industry no longer speaks on behalf of people, artists are reaching out to their fans. I believe that remaining connected, respecting, engaging with, showing interest and giving energy and personal time to followers is the only way to gain support. To be deserving of fans, we must deserve them first.

The Book

Although I have written six other books this book is the one that has been in my dreams for the entirety of my life! It will include extracts of previous diary entries including from both home and abroad and describes the journey of a drug addicted heartbroken girl who seeks to find herself by travelling the world. It may sound cliche' but starting in India life will complicate when she falls in love with a village man after spending her time teaching the young local children. She aims to learn hindi, learn to cook and dance as well as teach and finish her long distance philosophy courses and write a blog and book whilst there, only to further embark on travels and teaching opportunities throughout Asia, including South East Asia, China, Mongolia and the Stans. On the journey she meets a variety of fascinating characters including some of her old friends from back home.

I have been lucky enough that upon lifes path I have encountered some horrible experiences that have enabled me to be fortunate enough to see the positives in life and enjoy it for all it offers! I have had a lot of amazing experiences and met some incredible people and I thank all of you for joining me on the journey! This book is about both acknowledging where I have come from and where I am going in life and I am excited to defer and embark on the journey of a lifetime, writing the whole way. I have found myself, found the road, and I would like you to take the stroll with me.

The Journey

I will be posting on here regular updates about the various stages of completing the book. You can expect to recieve news, photos and videos to keep you on the bandwagon. I am excited to do this because I love connecting with other like-minded individuals.

Q: Why donate to me if I am not a charity?

A: Because you are NOT donating your money to me. Every contribution recieves a reward and I will not be making any profit from this. All the money raised will go to the costs of production.

Q: Can you still help if you do not have funds to pledge?

A: Firstly! thank you for your support. If you don't have the funds to help support me no worries! there are numerous other ways you can help! please help me by SPREADING THE WORD! You can post this link on your Facebook timeline, twitter, Tumbler, Google %20, or whatever you use! you can email people, hand out flyers and recommend the book to people you know that might like to read it! If you have any friends that work in the media industry then please do recommend me to them! This is so HELPFUL! Spreading the word is seriously one of the best things you can do to help!

Q: What happens when you want to pledge a certain amount but do not want the reward offered?

A: You can pledge any amount and select a reward of your choice from any of rewards of equal or lesser value. So for example if you purchase the $50 reward you can recieve the framed print or anything of lesser value, maybe the not framed print or just the post card.

Q: What happens if there are no more of the rewards for the amount you want to pledge?

A: You can still as in the above case select any reward of lesser value and as a little treat for anyone this may happen to then I promise to throw in a little extra suprise! Just remember, you can pledge any amount of money over $1 dollar you like!
