Actor, Director, Producer, Michael Turkic has been involved at the leading edge of commercial musical theatre. His appearances as an actor include the Original Australian Casts of Les Miserables, Company, Chess, The Secret Garden and many others. His directorial credits include: Baby, Is There Life After High School?, The Sound Of Music, Grease-The Arena Spectacular, Tim Rice's Concert Spectacular. Along with Jim Sharman, Michael was the founding co-ordinator at the National Foundation for Australian Musicals at NIDA. Michael was the casting agent and assistant agent on Grease-The Arena Spectacular, Happy Days-The Musical, Tim Rice's Concert Spectacular, and the national tour of Grease under the Big-Top. He has worked extensively in TV for ABCTV appearing in The Money Or The Gun, Olive, Relative Merits, and Channel 7's Melba. He has been a guest director at WAAPA, lecturer at NIDA, and guest director at CQCM.
