We are Eager & Vane

We create wonderfully surreal and vibrant silk scarves for women who follow their own fashion. Think Hermes at a rave with a modern pop twist, vibrant joyous patterns that can morph from rock chic to a night at the Nutcracker. We aren’t trying to appeal to everyone, just a select group of ‘wonderfully individual individuals’. People like you, who love Art as much as fashion!

Our inspiration? Playing with the idea of art as fashion, where anything goes, style is timeless and seasons are irrelevant.

We are three sisters who heart art and fashion:
Sarah Vane Howell, Dana Eager and Cass Eager Howell.

We need you!

We have HUGE plans for our small luxury company (from bespoke fabrics to interior design), but we know we must take one small step at a time to succeed.

Silk printing is very expensive and to get our first collection off the ground we need help funding the very first print run!

Our Scarves

E&V is about fashion created by visual artists and draws as much inspiration from Jean Miro and fourteenth century Japanese woodblock prints, as it does from the catwalk. Each print comes with its own visual story and acknowledge the artists that have inspired them.

All pieces are hand-numbered and printed in small limited editions of no more than 50, and come with a Certificate of Authenticity so you can be assured that you are buying a very unique and special piece.

E&V Scarves are lovingly and carefully printed on the highest quality silks, and finished with hand-rolled hems. They are beautifully boxed and delivered free, anywhere in the world.

From our ‘Classic’ neck scarf to our uniquely-named oversized ‘Zenith’, each scarf is designed to create different looks depending on how you fold them, drape them or wear them.

Our Ethos

Coco Chanel once said, “Hard times arouse an instinctive desire for authenticity”, and we believe quality is everything. In these times, it’s hard to find fashion that isn’t throwaway and this doesn’t benefit your wardrobe, your wallet or our planet. Instead, E&V’s emphasis is on creating luxurious life-long pieces of wearable art.

Most of us are very lucky, we have shelter, safety, and the means to express our creativity. However there are many people who aren’t as fortunate. For this reason we will be donating a percentage of sales from one scarf, from each of our collections, to charities that promotes artistic endeavour.
