In early December, ALASKA Projects' Sebastian Goldspink will travel to Good Children Gallery in New Orleans to install an exhibition of works by 16 Australian artists who have shown at ALASKA Projects over the last year. This group show features a diverse range of art works and showcases the depth of ALASKA's exhibition history since opening in October 2011.
The exhibition entitled 'AS ABOVE-SO BELOW' opens in New Orleans on Saturday December 8th as part of 'St Claude Second Saturdays'.
This tour is part of a cultural exchange between Sydney and New Orleans through artist run spaces ALASKA Projects and Good Children Gallery.
Good Children Gallery will make a return tour to Australia mid 2013.
Significantly, this tour represents the first group exhibition of Australian art held in New Orleans.
The exhibition features work by an amazing array of Australian artists-
