“Almost Exactly Circus” is an innovative circus company focused on providing Australia wide regional communities with high quality, affordable circus entertainment that is accessible to people of all ages, races and socio/economic backgrounds.
We have been dedicating our past three years to full time study/training at The National Institute of Circus Arts where we are completing our Bachelor. As we approach our graduation, we are eager to continue our passion by starting our own touring circus company; however the start up costs are great and we would appreciate your support to help fund this project
Our first show, Minimum Stay offers up a high energy, hilarious turn-down service you'll never forget! With reservations over-booked, watch high energy circus performers frantically try to keep their beloved hotel afloat and their guests happy. From Reception to Room Service, these acrobats will have you on the edge of your seat as they flip, twist, throw & climb their way to the top rung of hospitality hilarity!
In addition to our performances we offer Circus workshops for all ages. The workshops are offered as a package to run alongside the feature show “Minimum Stay" or can also be offered on their own.
Workshops are run by our 5 cast members and can include; hula hooping, juggling, hat tricks, clowning, human pyramids, handstands, mime and slapstick. They run for an hour and a half and can accommodate up to 60 participants. Upon negotiation with the client, we are also able to specifically tailor a workshop to suit different time frames, skill levels, and ages.
Our show and workshops are currently booked in Port Macquarie, Bellingen, Merimbula and the Bega valley in January of 2013 and we have a season booked at the Adelaide Fringe. We are also currently in negotiations with other theatres around Victoria for March and April

How will Your funds help us/Where will your money go?
We need to Buy/make a trailer to cart around our Sliding table (a special tale to perform acrobatics on).
We need but/make a sliding table
We need to buy/make costumes and props
We need to Purchase Public liability Insurance and music licensing
We need to design and make an Almost Exactly Circus website
We need to design posters, flyers and business cards and have them printed out to promote to the towns we will be visiting.
We need to purchase Circusworkshop equipment
