WHY POZIBLE?
Inner Demon, Ursula Dabrowsky's second feature-length horror film, was shot earlier this year and has now reached a rough cut that we’re very happy with, but we still need to get a bit more coverage and some pickups.
A reshoot has been organised in December and to cover these costs, we’ve decided to give crowd funding a go. Money we raise will be put towards the reshoot and some of the post production costs, including a behind the scenes doco, the official Inner Demon trailer, and a cast and crew screening.
Whether you are able to donate $10, $20, $50 or a major donation of $1,000 or more, you will be supporting what will be a truly spectacular Australian horror film. With Inner Demon, we are determined to hit this one out of the ballpark and, with your help, it will happen!
WHAT'S INNER DEMON ABOUT?
Influenced by horror films dubbed the
"New French Extremity", Inner Demon starts off as a serial killer abduction
thriller and finishes up as a supernatural revenge film. Teenager Sam Durelle and her younger sister,
Maddy are home alone when a knock at the door leads Sam down the road to
terror. Abducted by a serial killer couple, Sam manages to escape and find
refuge in an isolated farm house only to discover it is home to greater horrors
and a malevolent spirit. Trapped in the house, Sam is propelled into a struggle
for survival, one that will push her to the limits not only physically and
emotionally, but spiritually.
