ITS TRUE!!

Meet Craig. You’d like him. Everyone likes him. He’s a likeable guy. Even aliens like him. Which can be a problem, especially when the aliens have a very twistedly perverted sense of humor?

Craig’s normal, a normal twenty. He lives in a normal apartment in a normal city. He’s got a roommate, Rodders (picture a young Ozzie Osborne) who’s a normal stoner –“Dude!” – who normally fails to pay half the rent on time. He’s got a normal dog, Ewan, who normally humps the leg of anyone who comes within reach. Craig normally reminds people of a youngish Jesse Eisenberg: nice, cheerful, apologetic, occasionally good looking.

Then one night the aliens show up at the normal balcony of his apartment and Craig’s life becomes.....not so normal!

Probed is about Craig, his dog, his roommate and two aliens who like to experiment....on Craig.

With digital development funding from Screenwest, the Probed pilot was launched on Mondo Media in August 2012 and has a following of 38000+ like minded fans..

We've created our show because its a bit wrong...

Its a tad politically incorrect...

And aliens really do exist...

But...we like to laugh, we like to laugh at ourselves, we don't take life too seriously, we have a warped sense of humour...and we think its funny!

ABOUT CREWJO

Crewjo have been based for 8 yrs in Perth, Western Australia with Craig Wilson & Ewan Moodie. The other half of our team with Jymn Magon & Mark Zaslove are in LA. Jymn & Mark, have won  an Emmy award and many more Emmy nominations. They have a combined 50+ years in the entertainment biz. So they're pretty talented!

Today we  collaborate on stories and create content for all digital mediums and for a trans media global audience.

Mondo Media have offered us a spot on their new online channel Mondo Mojo http://mojo.mondomedia.com/, just for Probed. Broadcasting as many episodes as we can give them! How exciting!!

So for us we are at the next phase of production funding...to get a series funded!!

HOW THE HECK DO WE DO THAT?

POZIBLE, SCREENWEST & THE 3 TO 1 INITIATIVE?

WHAT IS 3 TO 1?

Fantastically for us Screenwest, in partnership with Pozible present a 3 to 1 incentivised crowdfunding digital initiative. 3 to 1 will provide funding for Western Australian digital content creators, media producers and production companies. Simply...for every dollar we raise within our 70 day time frame on Pozible, Screenwest will add a further three to the budget. 

But we are one of 20 competing for the $$$...which is why we need your help. 

Simply again...the first companies to achieve their targets before or within their time frame will get the moola!!

The BIG GOAL is to make 13 more episodes...But for this initiative we are starting with 3.

But hey, if you guys like it so much and we get more pledges than our target. We will be forever grateful and we'll go on and make the 13 episodes!....and other cool stuff!

THE PLAN..A

We'd really like to do as much as we can in Western Australia, so the majority of our requested funds will go towards recruiting a mostly local crew for our production pipeline and keep building the industry here in Perth. Of course we have to pay everybody else involved a reasonable rate, so we'll be contributing towards that as well. 

Fortunately we have wonderful friends who helped us make the pilot episode for next to nothing and we may have already used up our 'mates rates favours'! We would like to repay the faith of our friends and Screenwest and pay people a bit more this time around. As we don't expect everybody to do everything for free or minuscule rates all the time..

So with that in mind we have budgeted $35,880 to make the three episodes with all the bells and whistles...

As it is 3 to 1, our target on Pozible is $11,960. If we achieve that then Screenwest will chip in the remaining $23,920 and we can make the three episodes.

THE PLAN..B

If we still manage to meet our Pozible target of $11,960 but we miss the Screenwest cut off then we will 

1st) be SAD...

2nd) call in some favours again and see how many episodes we can make for that budget. Or we'll just make 'Tits for Tats'...the episode where Craig gets tits!

If we can get at least two episodes made we can still broadcast them with Mondo Mojo and share in the advertising revenue, which we will put towards making more eps! A longer process but at least we can still make more Probed.

If we are successful and get over and above our targets we'd love to make a Probed app, game and a pop up scratch and sniff eBook...yummy!

Some other ideas we've been thinking of to add to the Probed library of goodies:

'At home with Ewan', a coffee table book.

'Kram & Nogam's, Probing for dummies 101'. A step by step user guide for beginner probers..

'My life with tits', A self reflective interactive e-journal by Craig.

'Wow,I'm hungry!' Rodders one page pamphlet to easy eating when you've got the munchies..
