Hello lovers, strangers, friends, fans and family
It's Tom and Jen here, from The Jane Austen Argument.
We need your help to finish our first full length studio album, "Somewhere Under The Rainbow".
In September we are heading all the way to the U.S. of A, to Seattle to work with our amazing friend, producer and master-er, Blake Bickel, and a host of incredible guest musicians.
“Somewhere Under the Rainbow", will be a journey album - traversing 11-14 songs of love, loss, rebirth and joy. Some of them you have heard before – many of them will be brand new to your ears! While we can't release the EXACT track listing, we can tell you that one of the songs on the album has been co-written with award winning writer, Neil Gaiman
We have been planning, writing, singing and preparing for this album for two and a half years. We are SO excited about it, and SO close to making it a reality… But we need your help to raise the final $10,000, to book the studio, purchase necessary equipment, the printing, the pressing, and to pay Blake & the musicians.
As we are new to crowd sourcing we have set our target to half of what we actually require to make the album - so if we are lucky enough to make $5000 - the fundraising won't cease there!!!
We have a fantastic array of rewards (look right) that we are incredibly excited about too - from digital downloads to our tour photography book to the chance to appear in a film clip from the album!! Whatever you are able to donate to this project will be a HUGE help, and essential to bringing this album to you.
