Down in Melbourne there's a group making a lot of noise. There's a lot of noise being made about them too. A dedicated playwrights' theatre calling themselves MKA. They've been tearing up the stages of Melbourne Town this year and last and now they're gonna start coming to the rest of you.

22 SHORT PLAYS by David Finnigan to Canberra, Australia
(The playwrights' hometown.)
They need to get there. Probably by train. Probably not by hitchhiking and not being murdered because it's really hard to do the show if you are ghosts.
Don't let them do the show like that. Let them catch the train. Be that guy.
The guy that lets them live.

The Street Theatre is booked & the show is ready to roll:
We are only seeking $1,000 so we can seal the deal and bring MKA to the Nation's Capital. Home of sex and fireworks and something else. Oh yes sexy fireworky politics.
- If we raise $450, we can afford train tickets.
- (this is like a million times greener and cheaper than flying or driving woo hoo us!)
- If we raise another $400, we can afford environmentally-friendly printing for our posters, postcards, programmes and scripts.
- If we raise another $150 we can purchase recycled materials to build a junkyard set in the Street II Theatre, choosing materials that are kind to the earth eg. old cardboard and orphan tears.
- If we happen to raise more than our requested amount of money, this profit will go directly towards paying back the debt MKA has amounted to date in bringing you the best new Australian and International writing and go towards more new projects!
