Housemates is a comedy drama (more comedy) based around the lives of four very different individuals that live together. Rose is a struggling, young comedian trying desperately to break into the world of comedy, but will it be at the expense of her closest friends? Jules is Rose's girlfriend, she is a patient and calm individual who happens to work for the government. Unfortunately for her this just creates more material for her girlfriends routines. Then there is Will, the only 'man' in the house. Will is a young contemporary artist who is actually quite successful. However his success is wearing thin on his housemates as the primary materials he uses for his 'art' happens to be their belongings (some of them more private than others). Finally there's Anna. Anna is a young actress, and like Rose she is fighting to break into her industry. Her latest audition is for a soapie and she is desperate for the part, despite the awful quality of the script. These four people are each striving for success in their own fields whilst trying to co-exist as peacefully as they can.

The series itself already has a strong outline and the first four episodes of a six part season have already been written. The money raised by Pozible will be used to bring this series to life through the creation of the pilot. The money will be spent on hiring equipment, locations, props and costumes and any excess money will be spent on distribution to various Australian TV channels.

A previous projects completed by Daisy Berry and myself was a short comedic film entitled 'Wishbone'. Although quite different, 'Wishbone' contained a similar comedic style and as such I have linked the trailer.
