We ourselves had trouble finding information on events around Kuala Lumpur. Information is too segmented. We want to provide a solution where people can just open their phone and get those events fast with relevant results. There are other good platforms that are available now, but none of them focus on events around Malaysia's Capital city.

iLoveKL is an iOS app for iPhone. It is an event listing app that shows info on events happening around Kuala Lumpur. On top of that we have other features:-
- direct users to event location
- get more info on the event website
- call the event manager
- places of interest around KL
- instagram wall that shows recent images of #ilovekl
- camera app that can attach iLoveKL badges to photo and post to #ilovekl on instagram.

The app designed to be useful and convenient for tourist and malaysian locals.

We have been working on this project for quite sometime and we're running out of funds to continue development. We also have future plans to port this app to Android and Windows Mobile.Currently iLoveKL v1.1 is out at iOS/Apple's appstore.  Check It Out!

We want to continue with v1.2 which is more refined overall. In v1.2 new features will be added for user convenience. Users are able to like/vote an event, users will be able to list events according to categories. Events can be saved directly to calendar/reminder. To be able to develop v1.2 we need funding. We want this app to be advertisement free and convenient for users. We need money for development,advertising, and improve backend performance for a more responsive app.

Advertising = RM12000 or $3700 (create awareness)
- Posters, Booth, Facebook Adverts, Google Ads.

Backend = RM9000 or $2800(improve performance/responsiveness)

 We usually do contracting work for clients. But developing our own app without investors requires money so that we can live. Our real challenge is to get people using the app. To improve user experience and awareness, we need the boost to continue the development and advertising .
