We are Son Valise, a Melbourne based design team who specialise in unique portable audio systems for your phone or laptop. We are very excited to announce the launch of the JukeCase Mini, our first standardised product. We think it captures the very essence of our brand: maximum sound quality, easy functionality and classic styling. We think you are going to love it. But first, let's backtrack to 2011:
Nearly four years ago we started making unique portable speaker systems called JukeCases. Our idea was to create speakers that were portable but didn't compromise on sound quality or functionality. Each creation was one-of-kind, made from up-cycling vintage suitcases and speakers into new products.
After one year of heavy research and development we are ready to launch a compact JukeCase, we call it The JukeCase-Mini. It's a portable bluetooth speaker with excellent full-range sound, easy functionality and classic styling.
The JukeCase Mini is constructed from a beautiful vintage styled suitcase, high quality speakers, a powerful yet efficient amplifier and rechargeable battery for up to 20 hours play time. But that's not all, we have even included a bluetooth receiver in the JukeCase Mini so you can easily stream music wirelessly from your phone/laptop/tablet.
When you put this all together what you get is a compact speaker that delivers excellent sound-quality, is completely portable and works as simply as possible. That's exactly what we set out to achieve.

All Australian purchases have a 1 year warranty valid from time of receiving your JukeCase. We cannot however offer returns or warranty for international customers.
CAN I GET THIS BEFORE CHRISTMAS?
Unfortunately we will be unable to ship the JukeCase Mini before Christmas. We know that many of your will want to buy this as a gift for someone special and as such have prepared a beautiful gift card that you will receive in place of the unit.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The JukeCase Mini has an amplifier and rechargeable battery. You can play music either by plugging you device into the 3.5mm audio port, or by easily connecting via bluetooth for wireless playback. To charge the JukeCase simply plug the supplied charger into the side of the case. Charging take approx 3-4 hours.
WHAT DOES IT SOUND LIKE?
We have spent much of this year finding a speaker manufacturer that meets our stringent requirements for audio quality. The sound is full, warm and loud enough to fill any room in your house. We have designed the unit to be pushed to the limit without distortion.
WHAT COLOURS DOES IT COME IN?
Initially the JukeCase will be made in "Space Blue" and "Chili Red", however if we reach our stretch goals we can start making the cases in different colours. You can choose which colour comes next by voting in our poll on our website. Vote here now.

The Challenges
Each JukeCase Mini will be handmade in Melbourne by our skilled and experienced team. Quality is our number one priority. We put each and every case through a series of rigorous tests to ensure that they leave our shop in prime working order.
1. Ordering and shipping our parts
We will be placing our orders for parts as soon as we reach our goal. Production and shipping to Australia may take up to 6 weeks. Once they have arrived at our door we can begin construction. However, there may be some unforeseeable time discrepancy due to the Christmas holiday season.
2. Construction and manufacturing
We have been making JukeCases for many years, however our team is small. If we exceed our fundraising target we will be hiring some extra hands to help in constructing the JukeCase Mini's.
