Have you been to the TAP??  To save our gorgeous little 50 seat independent theatre we need to raise funds to pay for an upgrade to comply with council fire regulations. The performance space was set up to give Australian playwright a platform for new work. This is so important to get  grass roots & fresh writings out in an affordable & popular venue. These fresh new plays & young actors would not usually get an opportunity in other venues in a financially profit driven world.

Over the past 25 years TAP has seen many successes for the performance art events, including best director by the Sydney Theatre Critic Awards.

Everyone who attends our intimate space loves it, getting up close & personal with the actors, who range from well known established actors to first timers on the stage. 

Accepting of all, old or young, black or white,  gay or straight,  all are welcome. We all mingle as one in this unpretentious & iconic landmark which has operated for 25 years.

                     

The funds will be used to pay for improvements required for a fire order recently implemented by Council. By law we must complete this work to keep operating.

We need to pay a lawyer, town planner, carpenter, locksmith, fire inspector, hardware & equipment.

We have started our refurbishment but we have a lot to do yet!
