For those who came to the Orchard Cider Fest in January 2014, we hope you had a brilliant day! The Cider was cold, the live music was just super, and well - what more can you ask for in beautiful Adelaide in January!

We want to keep The Orchard going for years to come - and need your help! The costs involved in running an event of this size are, well, huge! We could always just charge the Cider vendors more to be there - but then who wants to pay festival prices for your drinks?!! (let's face it, they'd have to recoup those fees somehow!). 

The Orchard is an amazing outlet for local artists - many of these guys don't get much opportunity to show off their own work. Gigs in pubs quite often equals playing a lot of covers, we think it's high time these guys get to strut their stuff and showcase the real talent we have here in our beautiful state. Last year, all those amazing artists performed for us out of the goodness of their hearts. We just didn't have the funds to pay for anything! This year, we want to change that! 

The Orchard is supported by the Splash! Adelaide program - but in order to keep the festival free, fun and pumping with music from great local artists, WE NEED YOU!

*please be aware that you must be over 18 to consume alcohol, so your ID will be checked regardless of whether you hold a voucher or not!

Some of the things your contributions will go towards include some compensation for the acts on the day, hire of the gear we need to set up such a huge gig, security, licences, and plenty of toilets for everyone. Among a million other little things!

Funds are our obstacle! That and the usual things that come with an event of this size ! consultation with local business, residents, the vendors and performers on the day, supply of power… keeping the drinks cold…….
