MirrorU: your skin's newest weapon
MirrorU is an intelligent, super light and portable moisture monitoring device. The small device allows you to easily monitor the moisture levels in your skin, as well as acting as a mirror and remotely controlling the self-timer function in the associated app.
Weighing just 8 g, the MirrorU is 7 mm thick and has a diameter of 3.5 cm. This means you can carry it anywhere – throw it in your handbag, stash it in your pocket or place it on your bedside table.
The metal contact can test the moisture in the hands, face, eyes and necks. APP will display the result and help you analyze the moisture content of your skin in an all-round way!

项目困难及解决过程
项目的研发过程中，我们经历了许许多多的瓶颈与困难，历经艰难险阻、九九八十一难，我们终于设计完成了最初的梦想蓝图。
1.传感器的搭建，算法的优化
确定项目之时，国内外市场上并无类似的产品传感器，意味着我们必须自主研发、自行搭建一个模型。在查找了大量的数据信息后，通过反复的尝试搭建，同时编写各样不同的软件算法，推翻数十种方案。最终选定了最优最稳定的方案。
2.消除环境干扰
为使产品功能精确稳定，我们还必须研发出最有效的传感器干扰消除电路。这需要大量反复的试验，为了使之达到最优的效果，我们花费了大量的时间与精力测试及校准。
3.降低功耗
2014年11月，我们首次生产出的样机可以待机4320个小时，即6个月的时长。本着精益求精、力求完美的精神，我们进一步优化了硬件电路及软件代码。终于能够在同等电量的情况下，产品的待机时间达到一年。
4.结构调整，外观的优化

Safe and durable materials
MirrorU is composed of safe and durable materials. The exterior material is food-grade and durable, while the skin monitoring metal contacts are silver plated. The device is hypoallergenic and safe for use by everyone. Forget about harsh chemicals or cleaning liquids – the MirrorU requires just a simple wipe with a paper towel and it's as good as new!
Long battery life
The MirrorU has an amazingly long battery life – on standby, it can go without charging for up to 1 year. If you use it every day for 10 minutes, the battery life is 2 months.

How The Funds Will Be Used
We've already worked behind the scenes for a long time to develop our prototypes. Now it's time to bring the MirrorU to the masses. As such, your generous support will allow us to fund the mass production of the MirrorU, bringing it to the people who need it most.
The Challenges
After overcoming numerous obstacles and difficulties in the R&D process, we successfully completed our original blueprint.
1. Sensor construction and calculation optimisation
In the first period of establishing this project, there were few similar sensor products at home and abroad so we had to build a model through independent R&D. After referring to a large amount of existing data information and making numerous repeated constructions, we finally selected the best and stablest plan by programming different software calculations and rejecting dozens of unsatisfactory plans.
2. Environmental disturbances
To ensure the precise functionality of the device, we needed to develop the most effective sensor disturbance cancellation circuit, which called for numerous repeated trials. To achieve the optimal effect, we invested considerable time and effort in tests and correction.
3. Reduce power consumption
In November 2014, our first prototype had a standby time of 4,320 hours, equal to six months. In the spirit of pursuing greater perfection, we further optimised the hardware circuit and software code to achieve the improved standby time of one year – all with equal power.
4. Adjust structure and optimise appearance
An interesting, user-friendly and portable device is our never-ending pursuit. Thus, after numerous improvements, we enhanced the product circuit integration level and quality, and successfully created the device with a 3.5 cm diameter and 0.7 cm thickness – only 1/10 of the size of similar devices on the market. We really created the lightest, thinnest and the most portable device.
