World of the Wild is a unique mobile game app that will give users an opportunity to participate in fun gameplay, while contributing to real-life wildlife conservation efforts.

This app gamifies the concept of saving animals, and will allow you to rescue, rehabilitate and care for animals and habitats within your own carefully crafted world. Each animal in the app represents a real-life charity!

Partnered with 16 charities, this game offers unique facts and pop quizzes and will allow users rescue animals in need!
The game will empower the global community and transform online culture while restoring the natural world. It's a change to the status quo; utilising online activism to achieve tangible results in conservation.



OUR STORY
In an effort to engage more people with wildlife and environmental issues, Natalie Kyriacou created My Green World in 2013. The foundation of the company is to develop innovative and educational platforms that will enhance the efforts of global activism. Natalie noticed an ongoing trend in mobile games where they either focused on destruction and demolition, or they glamorized animals as pets and wildlife in captivity. Recognizing that these negative trends provide no tangible or educational value regarding animals, wildlife, or the environment, she set out to find a solution. This process lead her to create World of the Wild, the first mobile application with a positive impact on real-life conservation. To date, Natalie has sold her car, given up many luxuries, and contributed all of her time, as well as her entire life savings to this project. She has acquired partnerships with 16 local and international charities, all of which will be featured in the mobile game. Natalie has been selected as one of Australia’s 2015 ‘Social Pioneers’ by the Foundation for Young Australians.



ABOUT US
My Green World is an education-oriented organisation dedicated to wildlife and environmental conservation. Formally partnered with 16 local and international charities and initiatives, My Green World is a platform for the public to connect with environmental and wildlife causes. My Green World’s primary function is a natively-built mobile game application called ‘World of the Wild’ that will give users an opportunity to participate in fun gameplay, while learning about endangered, exploited and abused animals and environments specific to certain charities. The application will be a game focused on the rescue, conservation and/or rehabilitation of animals and protection of precious environments.



THE PROBLEM
96 elephants are killed every day and 2 wildlife rangers are killed every week trying to protect wildlife against poachers. Over half of the world’s species have disappeared in the last 40 years.

It is time for a change. It’s time to revolutionise the way that people connect with matters of global concern. It’s time to raise the profile of wildlife, development and environmental issues worldwide.

We have noticed an ongoing trend and problem within current models of mobile apps; games are focused on destruction and demolition or otherwise have a strong ‘zoo’ focus, glamourising animals as pets and wildlife in captivity. Users spend hours each day playing games with no actual value, so why not give them a game with charitable and educational values?


THE SOLUTION
Our solution is to create a unique game that allow users to participate in real-world wildlife conservation and habitat restoration scenarios. This application gamifies the concept of saving animals, and will allow users to rescue, rehabilitate and care for animals and habitats within their own carefully crafted world. Each animal in the app represents a real-life charity!

REAL-WORLD IMPACT
Each animal and environment within My Green World represents a real-life charity! My Green World gives users the opportunity to learn about endangered, exploited, and abused animals and environments and to make donations to specific charities as they advance in the game. The application focuses on the rescue, conservation and/or rehabilitation of animals and the protection of precious environments. Users will be able to select various animals and environments from the natural world that are in dire need of support and to place them in a personalised rehabilitation and environment-building centre to nurse them back to health!

Our charities have been carefully selected to ensure that no animal, human or habitat is exploited. They include Sea Turtle Conservancy, Borneo Orangutan Survival Australia, Dogstar Foundatoin, Whale and Dolphin Conservancy, African Conservation Foundation and many more!

My name is Natalie Kyriacou, and I am the Director of My Green World, an organisation utilising mobile technology for social good. Our primary initiative is a mobile game called Wild Earth, which empowers communities to connect with wildlife and environmental issues.
To date, I have personally financed the development of Wild Earth. I have sold my car, and given up my life savings to put $80,000 into this game.

And now I really need your help to get through the finish line! The final bill is due, and amounts to $7,000, which will cover the remainder of the cost of game graphics and user interface design.

Of course, the development of the game requires ongoing funding for its continual enhancement, so I am always looking for investors and donors to lend their support!
