I had been an avid runner for many years, but after a freak fall from a flying trapeze, subsequent surgery and months spent in recovery, running was no longer possible. Specialists suggested cycling to keep fit.

I loved it, along with the ease at which I could get around the city - but wasn't too keen on having to get in and out of lycra, or feel uncomfortable in clothes that just weren't made for cycling. 

Blk & Blu was born: created for the urban commuter cycling lifestyle, with clean and sharp styling in and out of the saddle.





The range is a selection of laid back tailored men’s streetwear pieces, made for comfort with loads of stretch for plenty of movement. It’s constructed from mostly natural fibers for softness and comfort. It’s all about having easy to wear premium wardrobe essentials like tees, shirts, jeans and pants for the guy about town who wants to look sharp and feel good on and off the bike.

The collection is designed and made locally in Melbourne and supports local craftspeople






One hundred percent super soft, combed cotton with a drop shoulder to wear with jeans or styled up for a night out. They come in clean, solid colours or with a print. Colours include white, black, grey male, navy and vintage blue.

Jeans come with a removable inbuilt bike pad for when comfort is needed for longer rides. The pads are easy to attach and detach. The cut is a slim fit with maximum stretch. Also available as a short.

It's been a long journey with countless dollars, sleepless nights and plenty of people involved to get the collection happening. It's now time to make an idea a reality.
