There are lots of people out there, more than 12000 natives families are in need of housing aid in the Peninsular Malaysia. They do not have a safe and proper shelter to live in. The children do not have a place to learn , live , and grow too.

Visitation to the natives' villages and were dumbfounded by the condition of the homes.
We are currently raising funds to build a house for the natives . Even tho the country has developed a lot in the recent years , but there are still natives living in the rural areas without a stable and proper shelter .
Therefore ,we are joining the EPIC homes , which is a non-profit organisation , to raise fund for about RM 42000 and build one house for an identified family among the natives.
We are currently undergraduate students studying chemical engineering in Taylor's University in Malaysia. We have been divided into groups to get enough fund to be able to build one house for an identified family among the natives. Each group is required to raise about RM 10000 for this project.
If we were able to raise enough fund in the limited time , then we are able to build a house in 3 days !

Let's build homes for these people to reach out to the community and create relationships between the city and rural folk.
How The Funds Will Be Used
To build a house , we need RM 42000.
Here is the breakdown of building a home :
RM 31500 - Purchase of raw materials ( construction materials such as wood and steel bar)
RM 3360 - Technical supervision by some professionals ( qualified civil engineers)
RM 2940 - Logistics
RM 2520 - Community outreach
RM 840 -Tools and Equipment
RM 840 - Warranty
Since we have been divided into four groups , we are required to raise fund for about RM 10000 .
Any more extra funds will be used to implement advanced features such as water filter , washing machine and etc.

The Challenges
This is the first time we are doing crowdfunding. To raise such a big amount of money , it is definitely a challenge for us.
If we are unable to raise enough fund , then this project will have to be cancelled . We are not able to build a home for the native family . This will be our greatest failure and disappointment for not being able to give the native family a safe and proper shelter. Therefore , we sincerely hope that the community will help us to fulfill their dreams of having a home.
If we are able to raise enough fund for our project , we are in need of volunteers who are willing to lend a hand as a builder to work with us and experience how to build a home . Anyone who are interested to be a builder , are welcomed to contact us .
We are all very keen on working on in this project and since we are just undergraduate students , as much as we wanted to contribute back to the society , there are limitations that are inevitable such as financial constrain.
We really hope we can reach our target and so we are able to provide the native families especially children a better place to grow in .
