Messed Up is a brand new comedy web series in development from Australian graduate film students Amy Micallef, Georgia Lyons and Robbie Stutchbury.

Each episode follows the lives of 20 something uni students Sofi, Becca and Kat living in their tiny Sydney apartment and getting up to drunken antics. 

We have 2 episodes in development at the moment:

Episode 1- Experimental
‘I did what last night?!”
The first episode follows the 'what happened last night' story of perfectionist character Becca. This mainly consists of her trying to figure out what she did the night before while trying to get around the lies of her trickster roommates.

Episode 2 - Regrets
‘If you don’t stop drinking you won’t get hungover!’ 
Sofi wakes up hungover and realises that she has a job interview. The episode will follow Sofi and Kat trying to make their way to the interview, while drunkenly stumbling down the street.




We really want to make this web series as we feel that Australia is sufficiently lacking a comedy about young people living in the city life. Sydney is one of the biggest cities in the world, with a huge population of university students living in the same situations as our characters. We want to show the real, unfiltered side of Aussie girls, and what better way to do it then to put them in heightened scenarios and watch the comedy unfold?!

To ensure we will create the best possible product we are asking for $2100. 

Your investments will go towards the production costs of a one week shoot in which we aim to film both Messed Up episodes. Your contribution will help fund:

* Equipment Hire 
- We will require a steadicam to capture the style of filming we're going for. 
- We also need a good quality battery powered light to help us shoot in scenes we won't have access to electricity. 

* Production Design
- We want to make the apartment look as though the girls actually live there, so we will be getting bits and pieces that match the girls personalities. 

* Catering
- On set we need to make sure all of our cast and crew are fed to ensure optimal moral and energy. 

* Marketing costs
- We want to make sure this show gets seen! So this money will be going towards publicity and marketing strategies so we can reach a wider audience and hopefully make more episodes in the future!

The greatest challenge we have ahead of us is that our content won't get seen in the big wide world of content. This is why we're endeavouring to create an exceptionally high quality product so we can stand out and be watched!

Our episodes will be going up on YouTube free for anyone to view. If our 2 episodes are well received we have plans in the works to keep this going and make more episodes.

The challenges and problem solving are really where the fun begins, we're crafty and feel equipped to handle anything thrown our way!
