Molly Rose Brewing is a culmination of Nic's love of the craft brewing community and his passion for fresh, local food and drink. After working in pedigree craft breweries from coast to coast in Australia Nic decided it was time to transfer his knowledge into his own venture in his home town of Adelaide. 

The goal of this campaign is to raise funds for the tools that Nic needs to share his journey as he investigates the history and current trends of beer in cultures around the world. Bringing new ideas back to Australia to launch Molly Rose Brewing. 


While the craft beer culture in Australia is vibrant and growing at a rapid rate, it would be dismissive to think that we have all the answers. At Molly Rose we will concentrate sustainably producing high quality, delicious beers that can be enjoyed by all. We love food and drink especially when it is fresh and produced locally by someone with a passion for what they do. We want to use our skills and enthusiasm to join the growing number of small producers providing quality, sustainable, Australian made options.


This trip will include Japan, U.S.A., Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium and The U.K., Nic will journal his experience using Instagram, Facebook and a regular blog where he will interview locals, write about the differences in beer styles, techniques and traditions between regions and describe the interesting experiences he has along the way.



A journal of the most interesting beer culture and tradition from around the world will help Nic bring a taste of the best the world has to offer back to Australia as he launches Molly Rose Brewing later this year.

Acknowledgements

With a little bit of support from you guys, Nic will be able to buy a laptop, camera and protective gear for both (so that he doesn't break them jumping off a bus in Prague) and journal his way around some of the most notable and historical beer destinations of the world.

If the goal of $3000 is reached Nic will be able to buy a portable little computer which he can use to tap tap away and write up all the interesting things for the Molly Rose Beer Reconnaissance Blog. This money will also be used to put together all the brilliant rewards for everyone that supported the campaign. 


If we reach $4500, Nic will be able to afford a fancy pants camera so that we can all share the beautiful things (beer an breweries) and people that he meets .

Contributions over $4500 will be spent developing new Molly Rose merch that will be available at discount rates to the campaign contributors.

*This sum is an approximate cost to produce the rewards the target of $3000. If we are lucky enough to raise more than the target the cost for rewards will increase.

The biggest challenge will be to get Nic to come home after 3 months of international beer travel.

Seriously though, on a 3 month trip it will be a challenge to record and share all of the marvelous experiences that Nic is sure to experience. 

Upon returning home and when he has recovered from his post travel blues, the hard work (but the real pay off) will begin. Nic will use his recently acquired knowledge and connections to launch Molly Rose brewing brewing company. A brewery that will bring ideas and traditions from around the world to the people of Adelaide and Australia; Molly Rose Brewing.
