Today, at 2.37pm, with only 22 hours left of our AUTHORITY CLOTHING campaign, we are so proud to announce that we have reached our target of $10,000. 28 days ago I appealed to family, friends and strangers to help me raise funds to take my (once crazy) business idea to a runway show at Melbourne Fashion Week. 28 days later and YOU have given me the tools to make this happen.
My words can not express how thankful we are to each and every person that has backed this campaign, from a pledge, a share, or just a by sending positive energy our way! We owe everyone so much. We are truly blessed!
I would also like to mention that this project is only possible because of the support from the artists we have onboard that believe in our vision. You have now given us the tools to source/work with new artists.
Now, this is where the hard work really starts. Its time to start making your rewards! And its time to take AUTHORITY to Fashion Week! :))))) This is going to be an epic 6 weeks!!!!

Who is AUTHORITY_clothing
This is the vision of a small creative team working from Melbourne, Australia. AUTHORITY_clothing is an independent clothing label launching this September.
What is AUTHORITY_clothing
AUTHORITY_clothing works with national & international artists showcasing a variety of street art through limited edition apparel lines for men and women.
Attached to the garment you receive a certificate stating;
1. The name of the artist.
2. The name of the art piece.
3. The exact location of where you can find the artwork throughout the streets and laneways of Melbourne, Australia's cultural capital.
Innovation at its best
AUTHORITY_clothing is working towards releasing a phone application to compliment the line. Our vision is, for each garment to have a swing tag featuring a barcode that can be scanned using this AUTHORITY_clothing phone application. The app will then give you details of the selected artist and give you updated directions to locate the actual artwork in the streets of Melbourne by using google maps.
Commissioning works
AUTHORITY_clothing has assisted artists by funding amazing murals throughout the city; we also pay the artists through a royalty scheme. And we only showcase artworks with the full permission of the artist.

AUTHORITY_clothing has been approached by a fashion/film company called FRED HATES FASHION to participate in their runway fashion show at 'Melbourne Fashion Week' this September.
This is a MASSIVE opportunity for AUTHORITY_clothing.
Firstly, to expose our collaborating artist's and our vision to the wider community.
Secondly, this will give the AUTHORITY_clothing team the chance to meet and collaborate with some of the fashion industries most talented.
We need to produce a full range of up to 20 garments, to showcase throughout the show. We have everything in place to make this happen. The only thing we are missing is the funding. This is why we have created this campaign.
Who you will be supporting
You will be supporting local and international artists who are collaborating with AUTHORITY_clothing.
You will be helping expose the colorful and creative world of street art.
You will be helping to promote the location in where the art is found, which in turn will bring extra foot traffic to local businesses situated in the area.
What will be achieved if you pledge
If we reach our target of $10,000 we will work day and night, with the aim to produce our first range ready for the runway show in September.
With a little help from YOU, we will be able to create exposure for more participating artist's, all in time for the Melbourne Fashion Week runway show and the launch of our label.
We can not achieve this without YOU.
