The funding will be invested in the recording of a new album (double album - one with a band and one solo), mixing, mastering, musicians' fees , manufacturing, sampling, postage, postpaks, updates for website, promotional one sheeter, CD cover and booklet design, posters, promotional photographs. The album will be recorded in a world class studio with world class musicians (selected from a pool of musicians I work with) (These include Skip McDonald, Evan Jenkins, Hans-Aage Deberitz, Phil Bradley, Reg Zar, Gary Ridge, Neil Sparkes, Ray Pereira, Kerri Simpson, Thierry Levasseur). The album will be mixed and produced by Skip McDonald (Little Axe) in London. It will be my first new album in six years. The band album will be all original compositions and the solo album will be some originals, Blues, Gospel and A Cappella Field Hollers. I have just returned to Australia after living in Paris for the last 4 and a half years. This is my 51st year as a musician. I have toured all over the world and released over 40 titles (see website www.stevetallis.com for full discography). Any money raised over the target will be invested into marketing and promotion and I will be contributing some of own personal money to the project.
