We've been producing youth theatre since 1990, and in this our 21st anniversary year, we're producing an extraordinary large cast performance in Perth directed by our founding Artistic Director Jenny Davis. Here at WAYTCo we're committed to giving the brightest and best of Western Australia's young performing arts talent a chance to shine in a professionally produced play in a major performing arts venue, and with no participation fees and an open audition policy we reach out to all young performers. 'Clark in Sarajevo' will be staged at the Subiaco Arts Centre with direction, design and production management by established and emerging professionals in theatre.

Set in former Yugoslavia in the 1990's 'Clark in Sarajevo' follows a young naive Australian war correspondent as he learns the human cost of conflict. There are 45 roles available in this play and we are looking for a cast of at least 20 performers on stage.
