BASIC SYNOPSIS:
Coping follows the journey of Abigail, her 2 younger siblings and Uncle Trevor who are all experiencing the same thing: the sudden death of the kids parents. The short film shows the different ways they are all trying to cope with the devastating turn of events and even though all these family members are going through the same thing, it doesn't necessarily bring them together.WHATS THE MONEY FOR?
We have got together a little bit of cash ourselves but need a little more to make up the difference. The money will allow us to hire a RED Scarlett kit and Lenses, plus a decent lighting and gripping kit to make the film look as good as we want it to look.
It will also go towards feeding the generous cast and crew whilst filming.

Kaiya is 17 years old and is known best for portraying Sophie Ramsay in Neighbours, however now she is branching off into the production side of film. "Coping" will be her 1st publicly released film outside of school.

Julian Vincent Costanzo -Producer
Julian Vincent Costanzo is an experienced short film maker with Lemonade Stand winning Tropfest in 2012 and Dave's Dead continuing it's successful festival season at St Kilda Film Festival this year after premiering as a finalist in the "Dendy Shorts" for Sydney Film Festival in 2012 following up with screenings at Melbourne International Film Festival and Show me Shorts to name a couple.
