How will I fight the infected?
Each survivor will be armed with a replica Airsoft weapon. The option will be available to further customize your weapon to your zombie killing style. Each time a player participates in the event they also receive reward points, which go towards free unlocks for future events. Replica military semi automatic assault rifles, as well as pistols, will be available to choose from. You will also be able to purchase extra ammo, and a helmet cam, to record and re live your zombie experience.
What makes us different?
Realism. This is not a game, and it is not theatre. It is a real life event that requires you to think on your feet and strategise. The decisions you and your group make will change the story and your experience, creating a unique experience for every group.
When is it?
Apocalypse Events is planning on launching Waking Dead Late 2013 or Early 2014. Subject to funding
Who is Apocalypse Events?
Apocalypse Events is the brainchild of Ross and Ethan Gibson, and Jasmine Nikolic. Being huge zombie fans, Ross and Ethan set out an an endeavour to create the type of event they would like to be part of. One that is intense, real, and visceral. Waking Dead was the result. The team believes that at its roots, the apocalypse is a terrifying and intense ordeal, and one which everyone has thought about. The teams motto is "Our reality, your war"
