For those of you who know AVCon, yes we are finally giving in to your demands and organising to bring a Special Guest to AVCon. For those who don't know AVCon – or who have been hearing all about us but aren’t quite sure what to make of us see below or check here www.avcon.org.au .

AVCon is proud to announce that LittleKuriboh (the wonder behind Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series) is coming to Adelaide! That's right, come to AVCon 2011 and be amongst the first in Australia to see LittleKuriboh this year. He will be hosting panels, making special appearances at various events throughout the con, and performing signings the signings area (and he'll be having an awesome time over the weekend because AVCon attendees are awesome!).

As an event that is run by volunteers with the support of our loyal, awesome, gorgeous fans (yes I am buttering you up, doesn't make it a lie though) we need to ask a favour. Our funding comes from the money we make from the prior years convention and from our few dedicated sponsors, this kind of makes things a little bit tight.

Soooo we want your to help us get LittleKuriboh all the way from overseas to Australia by plane rather than kayak and ensure he doesn't end up on our Convenor Tom's couch for the weekend of AVCon. Please donate as much as you can for this worthy cause – it will bring laughter and happiness to all our attendees at AVCon 2011 of which you should be one, you have got your ticket right?

While we have enough to cover some of the costs we do need your help, as such our target is not the full cost of LittleKuriboh's travel and accommodation arrangements – just 50% of them. Our target is $3,000.00.

The top 50 donations will get special thanks in our booklet which is given to all attendees on entrance to AVCon.

The very first donation will get a 'First' badge in addition to the relevant rewards as listed.
