The purpose of this is to gain funds for the commissioning of assets, at this stage art work for a variety of designs. These vary in genre and platform, a sample of which I have listed below. To take the basic outlines I have, to the standard shown at the end.
This is a high fantasy setting, full of elves, dwarves, spirits and magic. Units are ideally to be full customisable, from the sheltron and pike walls, phalanxes, shield walls, you control these units by signal horn. Weapons and armour come from the mid to late Medieval period, pole axes and war hammers, maille and plate. Even some early cannon.
The Marked is a 3rd person title, bordering action, role playing and horror. It's about a journey undertaken by two distinct characters, Max, a former soldier now assassin, and Alannah, once a police woman now a private investigator. Both have lost loved ones and are seeking clues to their disappearance, a strange mark, tattoo they developed over a course of months. Their story becomes linked as they dig further into what this mark means and the lengths taken to protect its secret.
It dances in the realms of cyberpunk and arcane horror, cues taken from the work of Lovecraft. A modern setting, though not without its differences. For a moment, think of New York in the 1920's, the roaring dance halls playing electronic music instead. An endless sea of yellow cabs, none of them with a driver. Great galleries of art, set in the back streets, navigating by the Green Woman, Reaper Square, Albatross. Cameras that record everything, yet crime is well and truly out of hand in some boroughs.
True Command, a future science fiction setting in which humanity has taken to the stars, yet the worst habits have come with us. We still war for territory, resources, authority. A title which explores the path we take through a vast network of hyperspace roads and gates. Set in space, it is on the harder end of science fiction.
You have a persistent home sector, with a facility that you upgrade, a divergent technology tree that not only unlocks new ship classes but new abilities and attacks for those vessels. Where you leave mining outpost in material rich asteroid belts, wreckage fields of ships from civilisations long gone. Story that reminds you of Athens and Sparta, the Iliad and the Odyssey.
Knight and Lance, a variant tower defence title in which you're able to create and manage your own company of freelancers. Starting at little more than a knight and a handful of men, through recruiting Men at Arms, gathering treasure and glory, building your reputation as a feared warrior and great leader.

It is my hope to have all work complete over the course of the next three to nine months. It is my hope that all rewards would be able to be chosen and received by the middle of March, 2014.
