Mirror of Filth is a gritty tale of sex and porn. Relationships and self-realization through self-destruction.

Starring veteran actor and filmmaker Jamie Wilson as Chris, a man who has sunk so low into his world of fifth that he struggles to function with real women. Porn is a reflection of his own self-loathing, the ceiling mirror above his bed the literal symbol of this, and though ostensibly he believes no woman can compare to his fantasies, inside he knows his habit is hollow and slowly destroying him. But a moment of genuine affection, a moment with a real woman, finally breaks Chris and compels him to shatter his old-self.

Mirror of Filth is a unique and challenging film. A confronting raw drama with dashes of wicked comedy that offers a male perspective on sex and self-loathing.

Mirror addresses love, lust, and the need for connection - physical versus emotional. It deals with deviance and desperation in the face of depression. Objectification and fantasy versus reality. It is a story about sex and its ability to destroy as well as heal.

We are aiming to raise $2000 to shoot Mirror of Filth. The money will be put towards set construction and location fees, camera and sound equipment hire, plus catering for cast and crew.
