WE AREN'T ASKING FOR TOO MUCH
This Pozible funding is to help print extra copies of a unique book called Imagine What Happens Next. We are committed to funding all other elements of our Imagination Story program.
WHY IS THIS BOOK DIFFERENT?
It's a unique, never ending story book for parents to use as a creative spark and unleash imagination. There's nothing like it in the market.
We have also established partnerships with child psychologists who will offer content direction as the program grows.
The book will:
* help children to develop social skills
* reconnect parents to their children
* build self-confidence
* help children to practice language skills
* boost intellectual growth
* help children to become adaptable to work out fears and worries
* and most of all learn by having fun.
HOWEVER THERE'S MORE TO IT THAN JUST A BOOK
It's also part of a bigger project online and in schools that has already had positive feedback from the Department of Education, Board of Studies and a variety of school Headmasters due to its potential to make a real and measurable difference to the lives of 1.1M children.
These are children who lack being regularly read to by their parents, or are spending too much time in front of TVs and computers or are doing other sedentary activities rather than being engaged in meaningful ways (sourced with the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Australian Institute of Family Studies and Child Psychologists).
The wider project involves 1-hour engaging story sessions, a social media community for tips (feel free to take a peak and join here: https://www.facebook.com/imaginewhathappensnext ), and a subscription based website for ongoing inspiration (in development).
